Arrival – Info and Contacts

Registration upon first arrival. All participants and attendees need to register upon first arrival at the Registration and Information desk. If they didn’t create an account on the online registration system they will be requested to fill a form and pay the fee, according to their participation to the congress (full congress or different days, see Registration page). Each participant and attendee receives a personal badge, coffee breaks-vouchers (see below), a congress bag with a copy of the printed programme and other materials. They can buy at the desk also lunch vouchers (see below).

Registration and Information desk. The Registration Desk and Conference Office will be open as follows:

Congress Badge. Each participant and attendee receives a personal badge upon first arrival at the congress and is requested to wear it for all congress activities, to show it at the entrance of each room and in the refreshment areas of the Auditorium complex or in other locations where a free or discounted entrance is reserved for congress attendees.

Coffee breaks. Coffee breaks are included in the participation fee. Vouchers are provided at the arrival, together with the congress bag and the badge, according to the number of days purchased: 2 vouchers for each full congress day (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and 1 voucher for Wednesday and Friday, when there will be only one coffee break in the morning and thus will be provided only 1 voucher. No other vouchers will be distributed in case of loss. Additional vouchers may be purchased at the desk. They can be used in some of the Auditorium refreshment areas indicated on the map (further information will be soon available). Each voucher is valid for one single coffee break, which includes in the morning a coffee or a cappuccino or a tea plus a croissant, while in the afternoon a coffee or a fruit juice or a tea plus a mini-muffin.

Lunch. Lunch tickets at the special price of 10 euro each will be available at the Information desk. They can be used at the BArt Cafeteria of the Auditorium – as indicated on the map. Each voucher is valid for one course (a first course or a main course or a big salad) and a side dish to accompany it, water and a coffee. The ReD Restaurant, instead, offers to all Congress participants a 20% discount on showing the badge. A list of nearby restaurants will be provided in the Congress bag and downloaded here.

Dinner. Dinners are not organized in any way, with the exception of the Farewell dinner at the Roof Restaurant of the Forum Hotel on Friday, 8 July at 20.30 (90/100 euro to be paid through the online system or at the Registration desk). You can ask for information about restaurants at the Travel information desk.

Please consider that minimum dinner prices in Rome are:
15/20 euro for a pizza with a beverage
30/40 up to 60 euro for a complete meal in an inexpensive/medium-priced restaurant

Copying. Papers needed for working sessions can be copied with a charge of 0,10 € in the Multimedia Library from Monday 4th to Friday 8th July. Speakers will have free provision of copies when required in advance.

Multimedia Library of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. During the entire week the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia will guarantee full access to the Multimedia Library and Archives.

Internet access. Computers with internet access will be available for use in the Multimedia Library of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Free Wi-Fi will be available in most of the halls and congress rooms and in the Library with a password upon application to the Information desk.

Printed pogramme. One copy of the IAML 2016 programme is distributed to attendees free of charge in the congress bag. Other copies will be available for 5 euros each.

City information, hotels and travel info. Alderan Events is kindly supporting us with an information point active for the entire duration of the congress, where you can find information about accommodation, transport, museums and attractions in both the city and the whole country. Books and Music Fair. See related page for the IAML 2016 Fair of books, music, software and projects which will take place at the Auditorium Arte (see map). The fair is open also to the general public for the entire duration of the Congress.
